HVAC Service Technician

Job description

  • Knowledge of Lennox, Carrier, Goodman, and Trane Equipment
  • Need to be able to work on damper systems
  • Mini- split equipment knowledge is preferred
  • Understanding of different types of Thermostats and communicating systems
  • EPA Certification is a Must
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Know and understand current Codes and be able to perform work to meet such codes

ALL TECHNICIANS MUST

  • Have a clean driving record
  • Be subjected to a back ground check
  • Operate a Service Tablet/ Computer
  • Good communication
  • Timely and reliable
  • This position is required to run and on- call schedule one day a week and every 5th weekend.

This job may require long hours or weekends in the busy season. There is room for growth in hourly rate after a 90 day review period is completed.

Compensation: TBD – Hourly and Commission

$750 SIGN ON BONUS over 90 Days ($250 first 30 Days, $250 after $60 Days, $250 after 90 days)

Office Admin

Job description

Austin Air Conditioning is seeking a part time admin to come in a help with filing, data entry, and paperwork preparation.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can assist in keeping optimal organization.

ALL TECHNICIANS MUST

  • Filing work orders
  • Scanning documentation and attaching it to job sites
  • Helping with paperwork preparation for next day operations

This position has a flexible schedule and could be in the morning or the afternoon. An ideal candidate would be a student (high school or college) or someone who is looking to have a none stressful work load.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: TBD

Hours: 2 – 4 hours / day

Pay: $9.00 – $12.00 per hour

Warehouse Assistant Manager

Austin Air Conditioning Inc. is looking for a self driven, detail focused, and progressive thinking candidate for managing the warehouse for our fast growing Company. Our ideal candidate would be able to implement processes to organize, facilitate, and execute a efficient and clean warehouse.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • receiving and verifying stock and equipment
  • Communication with office staff on received parts for confirmed scheduling
  • Communicate with Sub contractors to allow for easier “In and Out”
  • Maintain inventory lists and project quantities for up coming orders to ensure accurate count (not over or under)
  • Establish and maintain organization, cleanliness, and a safe (OSHA approved) Warehouse
  • Manage and oversee warehouse staff and make suggestions for systems or procedures to ensure daily warehouse duties are completed as well as efficient.
  • Stage and prepare materials or equipment for following day.
  • Work directly with our purchasing agent for all expected delivery
  • Establish receiving and staging areas
  • Tool maintenance management

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in warehouse management, inventory, or supervision
  • Experience in the HVAC industry is preferred
  • Goal and Team success oriented
  • Excellent time management and reliable
  • Attention to detail and organizational skill is a must. This position may require you to reset or organize the warehouse to accommodate different material.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft word, excel, outlook.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent record keeping
  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

  • 8 hour shift
  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
